 2008 8th Theme - Football Freestyle | PUMA protector-pro
7.43 / 10 The Puma protector pro is the ultimate in football technology.
The vamp is engineered leather which is extremely light weight and durable. A hexagon emboss has been applied to this and in the centre of the hexagons is rubberised ridges. This is designed to give grip to the ball in all conditions and from all directions. The vamp is also designed to give a large sweet spot for hitting the ball. The side trim wraps around the foot providing support and this is consolidated by the tightening system. Boa technology is used on the heel which when turned will tighten a wire which loops through the moulded side trim and through woven tapes secured under the vamp. Under this is the puma ultra support system with is a carbon plastic mix mould to cradle the heel. This will provide more foot stability which is required for todays fast pace game.
Under this exterior is a thin layer of neoprene padding and event membrane lining. This will ensure a breathable yet waterproof upper.
The Protector pro+ is designed to try and further eliminate ankle and shin injury while keeping the same level of support and lightweight breathability that is provided by a low fit boot. By combining the shin guard with the boot the link between the ankle and foot is combined to provide increased foot support and the weight can be reduced from having separate guard and boot. A neoprene sock fits around the ankle and under the guard area which is secured at the top of the leg with a Velcro strip. The guard itself has a hex pattern with the centres removed. This would allow the leg to breath and further reduce the weight.

2008 8th Theme - Football Freestyle | adidas Predator PowerShark
5.50 / 10 This is my first time to design football shoes. My inspiration came from the streamline shape of sharks. As we knew, sharks are the most powerful and predominant animal in the sea. This shoe is designed to cradle foot and not just protect it from pounding, but also optimize a football player¡¦s performance in such a way that a football player could run faster and kick the football more stably.
The carbon fiber is adopted in this shoe in order to provide protection on heel and the bottom of the foot. The lacing system is covered type. The stud shape is blade and the material is PU.

 2008 8th Theme - Football Freestyle | Nike Pro 6.
6.00 / 10 Hi my name is Dongwoo Shin.
I found out this website only few months ago, and I thought I should try out for this! In my country, we don't have such website like this and I'm so excited about it. This is basically my first work showing people. I'm very nervous but eager to get some great feedbacks! I did all the work by hand except the background. My rendering is still not great, but I try hard every time I do my work. I don't have any great knowledge about sneakers or computer skills, I'm just a beginner, but I have so much passion in it and I want to get better!! I look forward to learning from this website as much as I can, and you guys can give me some strong feedbacks! Thank you so much and see you around!

 2008 8th Theme - Football Freestyle | Adidas Sharkator
8.27 / 10 The Adidas SHARKATOR combines the lethal predator qualities of a shark with the fast and sleek qualities of the speedo sharkskin swimsuits.. No laces of course, much like the lotto zero shoes,.. instead there is a flexible 'skin' on top of the shoe that adapts to the footshape and is sharkskin-texured for ultimate ball-control.

2008 8th Theme - Football Freestyle | AIR ZOOM WARRIOR
7.18 / 10 For this football theme I choose to sketch a american football shoe, I took my inspiration from player who tape their ankle with their shoe. When player do that we only see the front part of the shoe. I simulate that the shoe was surround by tape and that we only see the front part. To hide the lace, there is a lace cover inspire by the Jordan XIX. For maximum support, I incorporate some sort of ankle sleeve to simulate the ankle tape. Finally I put some camo pattern on the front of the shoe for a aggressive look.

2008 8th Theme - Football Freestyle | Puma Pele Polaris
6.75 / 10 "'How do you spell Pelé?' G-O-D." - The Sunday Times, London newspaper.
Though my knowledge on the sport of football is limited, I am on the other hand well aware of the greatest football player in history – Pele.
My idea generally revolves around Pele’s instructional video on football techniques, “The Master and His Method”. Wherein he emphasized the importance of the in-step, the foot’s hardest upper surface that touches the ball during shooting or volleying.
My design aims to maximize the proper use of the in-step by incorporating an extended, adjustable, cushioned and flexible in-step cover in non-slip rubber. The non-slip rubber material provides a good grip for better ball control, while the extended covering gives the shoe a wider 'contact' area also for controlling the ball. Locks on both sides of the shoe are incorporated to primarily secure the in-step cover during play. Meanwhile, The fit still relies on shoe laces underneath the in-step cover. Another design feature is a monolithic (one-piece) durable plastic outsole with built-in studs also in non-slip rubber for ball control. The outsole shells on the heel area also acts as heel supports.
I always consider Pele as someone who’ll be forever unmatched, as someone every football player looks up to. He was all above his contemporaries during his time, and I’m sure even now, he’s still on the top. That’s how i chose the name Polaris.
I can remember in an article i read that Pele’s first job was shining shoes. That’s why I made the outsole material bright and transparent. I want to make it so shiny that it glows.
