September 2006 - Rolex | Omega | Nike Omega SP
6.03 / 10 Nike Omega SP, features both Nike's smooth design and next Nike Shox cushioning.
Breathable leather is all around the shoe, which brings great heat circulation, like the Spere Dry.
The buckle, out of molded mesh continues through the leather band around the lower part of the shoe for great stability up front and is properbly the most noticable part of the shoe.
A all new Nike Shox pad includeds a molded TPU heel cap for comoftable fit in the shoe.
The design combines both, the smooth design of Omega watches and Nike permformance sportswear.
That's why the shoe is called Omega Sport Performance.
The big Nike swoosh also brings great support for the lowar ankle area to provide as much stabilisation as possible.

 September 2006 - Rolex | Omega | Omega Genesis
7.10 / 10 The Concept: The metal wrist strap of a wristwatch; Omega as a partner of history; “Time is Gold” - an old proverb known to everybody served as my philosophy and a part of my concept for this month’s project. Everyone of us knows how important every single tick of the clock is. Every second that passes is already a part of one’s history. It’s recorded in eternity, and nothing can bring back time. That’s why it is important to make every moment as valuable as possible. The shoe is externally wrapped in panels of Patent Leather to make it look classy – an inborn feature of every Omega watch. It is installed in panels to match the wearer’s wristwatch regardless of the style and material. Either the person wears a metallic wristwatch or those which have plain leather straps, the shoe will match the wristwatch. Beneath the Patent Leather is a layer of Synthetic Leather, to provide more flexibility. In between these two materials are the unique durable elastic strips that circle the entire shoe. My aim is to provide consistent snug fit for the entire foot, regardless of the activity that the wearer is doing. The elastic bands were not intended to compress the foot, rather it molds the shoe to the natural form of the foot to achieve the proper fit. Two straps were also provided to ensure comfort. Another feature of the shoe are the two long strips of breathable mesh that borders the shoe to emphasize ventilation.
The shoe also features Carbon Fiber support system at the heel area and extends all the way to the midfoot to provide stability. The heel area also features a carbon fiber assembly that is geared towards achieving proper recoil and shock absorption.
The outsole is made-up of non-slip rubber. In the heel area, it is integrated with the Carbon Fiber assembly. The patent leather terminates at the outer part of the sole.
The elastic bands are not stitched into the shoe except at the strap area. They retract and expand freely depending on the form of the foot. No matter what the activity is, the shoe’s goal is to provide consistent fit. Click here for details.

 September 2006 - Rolex | Omega | Reebok Speedmaster
4.98 / 10 Edgar is back with the Reebok Speedmaster. Certain lines and shapes have their traces of the Omega watch but w/out a description it is difficult for us to see the overall link to the theme. The shoe itself is well designed, simple, classic, stylish and production ready - all of Edgar's signatures.
