 January 2007 - Lexus LFA | MANUAL
6.33 / 10 The main idea is to combine speed and tight shape of the LFA to a light yet
simple running shoe. Combination of fullgrain leather with sandwich mesh
gives tight shape and proper breathability. The plastic eyelets makes the
lacing exposed and give better fitting. TPU heel counter inspired by LFA's
taillight itself. Sole inspired by Fila's bottom because I like the clean
shape and it's simple combination of phylon and rubber.

January 2007 - Lexus LFA | Fila Lexus LFA
5.89 / 10 A lightweight street shoe, by italian cooperation with the Lexus company.
This shoe features a snakeskin leather upper, and a stiff front rear vamp
that stretches beneath the shoe and comes up on the other side. Around the
heel and around the entire shoe, a aluminum piece that is molded in the
lexus factory gives stability, yet being light. The shoe sits on a stiff but
lightweight carbon plate, as found in the car and above the midsole a netted
vent is found.

 January 2007 - Lexus LFA | Lexus LF-A
6.16 / 10 The "Lexus LF-A Hoops" shoe is perfect for the player looking for
extra support and cushioning. A strap across the forefoot helps to
lock the foot into place for players who need it, and is easily
remove-able for players who do not. The carbon fiber shank offers
mid-foot and arch support while the high profile and booty support the
ankle. When I was looking to the Lexus LF-A concept car for design
ques I received most of my inspiration from the interior. Drivers
spend more time in their cars appreciating the interior then outside
gazing at the exterior, so I felt it appropriate to pull most of my
visual ques from the drivers environment.

January 2007 - Lexus LFA | Zoom Alpha
6.23 / 10 The Nike Zoom Alpha is inspired by the Lexus LF-A.
Like the car, the shoe tries to be simplistic, fast,
and aggressive. The heel of the shoe takes its cues
from the vents on the rear of the car. The wrapping
outsole and midsole were inspired by the wheels.
While the lines on the shoe try to mimic the curves on
the Lexus. The upper is a combination of leather and
a Lycra shroud that uses a zipper enclosure. The heel
has a little cutout for flexibility and ventilation.
The Phylon midsole houses heel and forefoot Zoom Air
units. The outsole wraps up at the heel and forefoot
for stability, and also has slits for added
flexibility. Alternative colorway.

 January 2007 - Lexus LFA | LFA
6.94 / 10 I imagined this shoe thinking of the car "Lexus LFA". i found this car very
well designed and agressive. Also I decided to design a low-top shoe to keep
the aggressive character of the LFA.
My idea was to keep the high lines and the shiny chrome material.
The "Slip-on" system is here to give a clean appearence, without laces.
The whole shape reminds us the speed curved lines of the LF-A.
i kept the idea of the two front headlights which appear highly on the
car.
i chose the brand NIKE because the swoosh is like the lines, it represents
the speed.
To conclude, I tryed to imagine a very simple and agressive shoe.
I decided to use the 3D modeling to insist on the car-design renderings.
Moreover I also did an illustrator rendering to show the research.

January 2007 - Lexus LFA | Salinger Marque
7.12 / 10 Peuyoooom…Peuyooom…Swish…Peuyoom…Swish…Peuyoom…that’s the sounds of me driving past you…Peuyooom…Swish…and that was another two points…Swishhhhh.
If the shoe looks simple it’s because it is. Much like the Lexus LF-A concept car, The Marque is purely minimal. A little bit of leather…some rubber…foam...mesh…a little plastic…thread…glue…and that’s about it. Simple. All the technical stuff goes inside. The shoe is the frame. Your foot is engine. Drive safely.
The Salinger Marque. Peuyooom. Swish

 January 2007 - Lexus LFA | Puma L-Finesse
7.04 / 10 My Idea for the Puma L-Finesse was to create a sleek minimal profile that
mimiced the dramatic lines on the car. Puma was the first brand that came
to mind as I consider them to be the definitive luxury brand. The triple
eyelet section was an obvious design cue taken from the exhaust. The main
influence however was the swooping line on the side wall incorperating a
strategically placed wire mesh panel to maximise ventilation. The
streamlined Puma Form Stripe has a wire mesh center with an electric blue
keyline, this detail was inspired by the digital display on the dash. The
overlasted outsole provides speed and control, and the internal Puma Cell
technology provides cusioning in the heel

January 2007 - Lexus LFA | Nike LF
6.51 / 10 Here is my "Nike Lf", a basketball shoe really slick and pure inspired by
this awesome Lexus concept car,
so I simply tried to integrate this sharp lines in the upper, by adding two
straps for a better fastening which corespond also to the performance
dimension of the car.
For an eye catching aspect in the yard

January 2007 - Lexus LFA | Lexus LF-A concept shoe
4.74 / 10 My interpretation of the Lexus LF-A car, is a vehicle that has smooth, flowing and continuous lines. The concept has an aggressive high end sports car aesthetic with a longer body style and low stance. I thought this would be best depicted in a running shoe concept to get that speed and aggressive aesthetic.
