de Castro's shoe is inspired by the submarine world forms and shapes as evident by the scales of a seahorse.
The mesh opening on the side are like fish scales that offers fresh air to the foot. The Fit Spoiler System, at the back, allows perfect adjustment for each ankle, by turning the Jordan logo.
Little details like MJ's signature is engraved near the forefoot. Finally, the bright Bulls red color stands out against the black to give this shoe a perfect colorway.

Ryan's reinterpretation of the sample AJ XX's is a simple yet elegant design that carrys that sense of Air Jordan mystic. He added an element on the lateral side of the
ankle strap to give the strap more function as an anti-inversion
device. Zoom Air is visible through translucent plastic on both sides
of the heel counter. And in keeping with a long-standing Air Jordan
tradition, a lace cover, or "shroud", wraps from the medial side, over
the top and loops through a plastic grommet to become part of the
hidden lace system. If you look at the bigger photo, the image will move and reveal how it all works underneath.

Peterflight's first inspiration was the 118 WallyPower Boat (a high performance boat at almost 70 knots of speed and 16000 hp) and its super luxurious, minimalistic design.
The upper is made of a new textile fabric obtained from enginereed weaving of syntethic polymer fibers (similar to yachting America's Cup sails). It should provide resistence, flexibility, breathability in the areas where you need the most. The new full length Zoom Air cushioning is thinner than usual while employing super performance tire technologies. What you have is great cushioning, step control and good grip - since the outsole is glued directly underneath the cushion. The strapped closure, employed in road cycling since the 80's, provides the best personal fit during the course of the game since you can tighten it at any time on the courts or unleash it to relax the foot off the courts.

The passionate French designer returns after finishing runner up last month. Air Jordans aren't just about tradition but also breakthrough and innovation. This XX has a special shape with a new closure system. The swoop pays tribute to the original Air Jordan I. The text on the strap recognizes the team (players and designers) that makes Jordan brand possible. There are also various other hints to the Air Jordans past that we'll leave you to figure out. Overall, regardless of the practicality of this design, we've got to appreciate the creativity and possibilities offered by the rendering.

After missing the Olympics theme with a late entry, Arsen made sure his XX rendering got in well before the deadline. This well designed shoe utilizes a patent toe design like the XIX but the rest of the shoe is entirely unique to its own. Can you imagine seeing this shoe as an ad in the latest issue of Slam? We can.

This incarnation of the Air Jordan XX incorporates a
revolutionary new technology dubbed: "The DOUBLE-CROSS
Lacing system". The "double-cross" straps are
removeable and connect to the dial in the heel. The
straps contain the laces and are tightened by turning
the dial. The rear of the shoe features TPU supports
that protect the ankle and heel and also reads as "XX"
from the rear view. As an added bonus, Jamien also present the Air Jordan XX.5

Zenith comes back with a XX design that leaves us with more questions than answers. What exactly is that white space? We'll be looking forward to an explanation.

It features a one-piece upper/toe pod made of a woven foamposite material so
that it has enough flexibility without the need for flex grooves on the upper
while keeping the fit characteristics of the foamposite material. Under the
pod is a full length elastic inner bootie that fit snuggly enough around the
foot to not require laces. Fine tuning and security of fit occurs via a
midfoot strap that closes across the arch to free the upper of clutter, and a
lycra ankle fit strap and prevents heel slip.
Thenu-XX also features a venting system contains intake vents on the sole and
the front midsole, and exhaust vents on the heel area, which facilitates air
flow to cool the foot.

Joe's design is meant to be futuristic while hinting at the ideas of past Jordans. Look closely at the laser design and you see every single Air Jordan from I - XIX. There are also intricate details like the way lace loops are placed, #23, Jumpman, outrigger as well as flexible strap at the top that molds around your ankles. Of course, having a lazer etched MJ dunking over his opponents like the statue outside of Chicago Stadium is sure to break some necks.

Pep returns with a tribute to MJ and to the Air Jordan line. The sole is divided in 20 radial parts, 19 of which form a chronologic collage of parts of the Air Jordan soles.. For the upper, he transformed the greatest MJ picture ever into a laser etching pattern along with a simple/modern upper. Finally, there is a hint to the tongue of the AJ6 with a black stretchy tongue that goes over and under the laces

This concept features a lock down system that is controlled electronically by the Jordan dial at the arch to tighten and a release button at the heel to loosen. The profile of the shoes put the player on their toes so they are quicker to react, the swingarm heel features a system similar to shox cushioning.

After countless entries and remarkable improvement month after month, Kyle finally makes the final list.
Take notice of a red band that stretches around the ankle for support and comfort as well as a full toe guard at the front. While this is more like a XX Trunner rather than the flagship, it is nevertheless a shoe that is true in the spirit of JB.
