COLLECTIBLITY & NOSTALGIC & VALUE
The AM2 CB has been retro'ed. However, that has not neccessarily hurt its collectibility. The CB Derrty (remixed by Nelly) has added a much needed boost and exposure to the model. The special edition Derrty was limited to 1,000 pairs and fetched as much as $600 in the after-market, boosting the sales of the model's other colorways along the way. Yet, due to the wide availability of the retro, nostalgic value definitely took a decline.
The AMF CB has not been retro'ed to date and can be found for the most part in the after-market due to its popularity. Not only does it share the same blood line as the ever popular Air Force Max, its colorways are few and mint deadstock condition pairs are getting harder to find. But due to it's relatively low supply compared to the Retro'ed AM2 CB, the AFM is a more sought after collectible.
And it is due to this difference, that the Air Max Force CB narrowly edges out the Air Max2 CB as our winner.
