The I3 Playoffs ice blue soles flow nicely with a clean design.
Reebok changed the sneaker game by signing hip pop artists instead of athletes. Jay-Z, 50 Cents are just a few of the entertainers that Rbk is banking on.

Another aspect that Reebok has done which I like ties in with the whole I3 line; the Rbk and ATR lines for basketball. Think what you will about the quality of shoes, but with NBA stars like Steve Francis, Baron Davis, Kenyon Martin, Jason Richardson and now Yao Ming, these lines can and have done some damage with the right amount of marketing. Fact is, the Reebok basketball lineup has grown 22% compared to the previous year - an obvious credit to the ATR and Rbk lines. Hopefully Reebok will follow up these models with solid performing shoes at a reasonable price and continue to impact the market.

The third thing Reebok has done right is by having rappers endorse their shoes. The hip-hop community and shoes have gone hand in hand since the Run DMC days and things are no different in 2K3. Reebok has two signature shoes for two signature artists: the G-unit for 50 Cent, and the S. Carter collection for Jay-Z. Both shoes have sold very well and both have multi-platinum artists backing up the shoes. Hip pop and basketball is inseparable. For a kid growing up in the ghetto, it would seem the only way out is by dealing at a corner, rap or have a wicked jump shot. These three things are ingrained in the mind of the hip pop culture. For Reebok to establish itself in this market place via well-known rappers, it creates instant brand recognition. As evident by high sales, this is definitely a great move by Reebok to get these two artists on board and their shoes launched.
