Overview: 10 years later, the Air Zoom Huarache without a question drew its inspiration from the Air Dynamic Flight and Air Flight Huarache. The 2K4 version is a super light-weight performance shoe (it is about 5% lighter than even the Ultraflight). The Huarache 2K4 is also a well balanced shoe with low profile Zoom Air cushioning. The upper now comes with a velcro strap to improve on ankle support that was lacking in the previous generation Huaraches. The shoes have great ventilation with breath holes around the medial side and the traditional Huarache ankle cut out that keeps dust out by using a thin see through elastic material. The shoes are a bit narrow and could be tight for those with wide feet. The ankle support - although improved from the Flight Huarache, is still not a strong point. Long term update has shown that the support degrades over time due to the nature of the flexibility of the shoe. This is a serious area to consider if ankle support/protection is important to you. If you are prone to ankle injury then we DO NOT RECOMMEND this shoe for you.
