Overview: The Elevate continues a strong traditional Shox lineup of BB4, Limitless, Status and Jump Off. Very little separates the past and the present. Zoom Air at the forefoot along with Shox at the heel provides a responsive performance shoe that cushions well. The most noticeable difference of the Elevate is that the shoe deviates away from the internal lacing structure to a speed lacing system for quick tightening. Unfortunately, we feel the inner lacing system provides a better hidden fit than the one the Elevate use. At a bargain price of $100 retail, most consumers simply can not go wrong with this pickup. This is about as safe, solid and no brainer a shoe that you can find these days for the price.
