Overview: The Air Jordan XX2 is absolutely a gem. It goes back to the basics by become a lightweight, performance oriented basketball shoe. Jordan Brand decided to cut out the fat, hype and gimmicks that has accompanied several of the past Jordan flagships and deliver the best performing Air Jordan since the XIV. The XX2 also comes with superb cushioning and an easy out of the box fit without break in time. Interchangable Zoom and Air unit remain - the only difference is that now you can see which one you are using by looking at the "exhaust" hole at the rear. Ice clear soles provide excellent grip. This is everything we asked for in an Air Jordan. We highly recommend that you grab a pair because it is all that and more. Are there any flaws? Yes, the biggest gripe so far is the durability of the shoes - especially on the black pair with suede upper. Even wearing exclusively indoors, the XX2 has not held up well over time. The paint of the shoes rubs off easily, the reflective rear scratches and the overall shoe deforms and degrade with extensive wear.
