| Overview: We are unsure where Jordan Brand is going with this shoe. As Tinker Hatfield's last designed Air Jordan, has the legend gone out w/ a whimper rather than a bang? The tongue, the tongue. How can you not notice it? It sticks out at you. Sure, it's creative but that doesn't mean the consumers have to like it. X-15 inspired or clown shoes? You be the judge. Performance and comfort wise, it's like the XV went back to the XII days. The cushioning is very stiff and inflexible. The shoe is durable (wearable outdoors and still last) and light-weight at the same time - although the weight saving part comes at the expense of ankle support. Woven design is a new addition to the Jordan line but probably looks better on Prada than it does on a basketball shoe. Check out the long term review. |
