| Overview: Forever known as the MJ's comeback shoe with the Wizards, the XVII reached a mind-boggling $200 retail price tag. It does come with a suitcase and CD-rom that has its own collectible value. XVII provides modern day comfort and performance but with more of a forward in mind than a guard. The shoe has adjusted to a bigger, stronger and slower Michael Jordan. This also means more added weight and less flexibility. Quality of material used are all top notch, but they do crease and scuff terribly. The agreement on the shroud is that it is near impossible to wear and keep in place without it popping out. It is these lack of attention to details that makes the price tag so outrageous. The low top version kept the convertible concept but w/out the exterior magnet, it's harder to keep the top down. |
