Overview: The Air Jordan II used high quality Italian leather and is the only shoe in the Original Air Jordan line not to have a black colorway. It is a love it or hate it shoe in the hobby that many collectors shunned but others desperately trying to obtain. Due to out-dated technology and performance numbers, it might be wiser to keep them off the courts and in your collection - where they belong. Retro's have been re-released but there is a drop in quality from the Original's. The Nu and Retro's editions have several colorways and are treated more as casual shoes than true on-court performers. From a collector's point of view, the flood of retro's by 2005 has somehow diminished the collectibility of the II.
