I think I am, Tony. The last one I got from you was a reply that simply said, "CLASSIC!" Isn't that the last one you sent?

Whaddup, Jay!? Thanks for everything man. I look forward to seeing y'all later this year. Keep crankin' out those classics so I can be completely broke when I retire and build a homeless shelter out of my J's!

Tony Toni Tone, Whats up man...I am glad to see that your story is being told. I was hoping that Charlie Murphy would make an apperance but I will have to wait until you first true industry party.....We are all proud of you over here in JB and Nike so keep doing your thing and holla if you need anything. D is right...Biggie at Thanksgiving would be ridiculous. JAYMAY

Wow, I thought the XXI rendering was pretty cool before, now I think it´s great! Hearing the story behind a design gives it som much more.

My mistake...the airbags would techinically be considered a midsole, there is just no foam. Also the pods shift and flatten as the foot rotates at different angles to the floor to increase balance and stability. -TH

I never got a chance to explain the tech in my XXI rendering which I wanted to share. It is somewhat of an evolution of the XIII, but a revisitation to Tinker's idea of a Jordan "sock with the XI. What I did was basically eliminate the midsole altogether. The sock is mounted on a full length TPU cradle (to keep the midfoot rigid, but thin enough to flex in the right areas) with individual air bags of different densities pressed through from behind with rubber traction pieces cemented to the bottom.. To keep the lateral/medial stability, I added the foam support structures with perforations to keep weight low and breathability high. The shoe was inspired by the sky being the limit and specifically the night sky/outerspace and the lifting of limits. You can see the reflective stitching or stars peeking through the perfs. It is one of my personal favorites of the things I have done.
