Thanks David.

How was Berlin? I am sure that was an opening experience.

I am at New Balance. I was never actually at Puma. I am in the Advanced Product group. I am an Associate Designer. I just became full time at the beginning of the year.

Its been fun and very eye opening as to how the industry really functions.

Nice shoes Ian!
I'm not very sure about the pattern (brand logo) over the upper of the midcut one, but overall they are nice and original.
I like a lot the black/white/red cw, even because of the different black materials.

Congrats again and ciaoooo

I have to say, I am very impressed Ian. Good luck on the launch and you have to let us know where they'll retail. I may need some advice from you on the process in the future. Congratulations!

Thanks guys...I appreciate the positive feedback.

Rich: U probably referring to the perf pattern, cuz there's no mesh on these. I'm hoping that they'll be available for retail in the states..

TH: I did some nice colourways for the lo's, but those 2 r the only ones I received so far. I'll post the lineplan sketches here so u can get an idea tho.

IAN GALE!!! Comin' at us in THREEEE-DEEEEE!!! Nice work, man!

Jimi Taylor, I see you too. I like the print on that upper. Maybe a little too 07-Zoom-meets-Trunner, but I still like it.

Im really feeling those lows! The mids... hmmm I dont know.. Maybe if the upper had the same mesh type material as the lows. It looks pretty bland compared to the lows.

Are these going to be available in the stores here in the states? Those lows would be a nice addition to my KG Artist collection :)

Word? That sounds interesting...how is the hip hop scene in San Diego?

Vanquish is my own product to the extent that I'm not only the designer, but also a partner in the company.

Here are a couple pics of some proto samples. Let me know what u think.

I have been quite busy myself. I have kinda moved away from footwear design and currently working on marketing and promoting Hip Hop artists here in San Diego. I have been doing album covers for quite some time, so I guess its a natural progression.

Is Vanquish your very own product? Im looking forward to seeing some of those samples.
