This is going to be hard for me, I am so pro-Nike and anti-adidas, but I will do it anyway, because I have to respect the mans brand. I have tried to find the Garnett logo, but haven't been successful. Can anyone help?

K.G. - whats his attitude someone plaese? i think a KG3 should at least have somet like a full a3 structered midsole. luxery material like "the garnett"... and all u pple KG does have a logo with adidas here is a link http://www.sonlan.net/pic-a/20040930053922a5.jpg ps. / with RESPECT to renderings, i dont think that the ferrari inspiration would be a winner at the end of the year, even though its the design that counts not the inspiration peace ________ Best adidas bball shoe of all time - the adidas superstar ultra (NOT THE 2.0) SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN RECALLED!!!!

OK, IT'S MIKIE AGAIN. I AM GOING TO POST A KGIII RENDERING FOR THIS MONTH, BUT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON A TMAC RENDERING JUST FOR SOME FEED BACK, BECAUSE MANY OF YOU CRITICIZED MY LEBRON AIR ZOOM 3 RECENTLY, TALKING ABOUT MY SHAPE. SAYING THAT I NEEDED TO TRACE OVER THE SHAPES OF BASKTBALL SHOES. BUT I DONT TRACE SHOES, I FREEHAND THEM. SO 4 ALL THE HATERZ, IF YA GOT SOMETHING TO SAY, BACK IT UP! HERE'S MY UNFINISHED TMAC RENDERING. ALL SUGGESTIONS ACCEPTED!!

Mikie, I hear your design man, in my opinion, you should keep the shoe as clean and as less lines( design wise) as possible. Then it would fit to the t-mac 4. Totally dig your red line design, it looks like you ripped the t-mac4's upper and exposed the hug system under it. Great!!

to MIKIE: you seem to be hooked on this issue of people constantly "hating" on your work...like BC from the ferrari forum suggesting that you should trace over shoes...i think he meant that tracing over would give you a feel of shoe shapes so that you can improve freehand...i'm not too sure why you took it as an attack on your abilities when you're asking for advice and comments...but anyway, you got a nice design going...just keep at the rendering and i'm sure your final product'll come out well...

true enough mikie, i see where you're coming from...but yeahh, more about the tracing...it's only to improve your stuff y'know? i'm not saying use tracing as your final piece...just on the side to get you get a feel for the shape of a shoe concept BEFORE you go to the final...tracing may help...personally, i don't do it...but it's a good suggestion & can help some people with their skills...that's all

true anyone can trace but not every one can trace well, its just like drawing anyone can pick up a pencil and draw but not everyone can draw well. tracing can help you get used to making strokes with the pencil and you will learn faster than if you tried to do it all freehand, because right now your proportions & shape are off so starting off tracing a real shoe might help you see where you are going wrong. oNe

I blink 2 times & a new chat has started. Wassup to all. As stated on the previous chat, if anyone wants to see my KG3 www.jimmywashington.com . Go to the "DESIGN" section & take a peek. Any comments are greatly appreciated. I'm working on some other views & colorways, so I'm far from being finished. Thanx a bunch & good luck to each of you!

The Add looks better than the shoe in Adidas. I guess KG 2 in AND 1 was the best shoe for him. It really looked different and cool.

Hey Hamzah!!! Your KG sketch is a great start. That KG logo is very different & innovative. That was something that I wanted to do as well. I can't wait to see how you finish.

MIKIE: I was gonna comment sometime ago about your posting about "people hating" your work. I agree with what Ade said. Anyone can draw, but drawing well is something else. You seem so defensive and riled up when it comes to your work. Granted, I can guess that you're young and still have plenty more to learn. But when I suggested tracing, its because I can see your proportions are way off, dog! Call it hating if you want, but why are you posting here asking for suggestions and advice if you just go and be defensive about it? What's the deal there? If you plan to be really good at this and you plan to go to a decent school, say in industrial design, with your attitude right now, you will just flat out be miserable and disappointed. The instructors we had to deal with at ID school were fierce and ruthless. But whenever I get feedback, I took it with stride and tried it out first to see if it can help me improve. So if you don't see the benefits of how tracing can improve freehand, then that's up to you. But I'm telling you flat out, as a professional industrial designer, your proportions are off. So if you don't believe in the idea that tracing helps improve the visual eye, how about this saying by this guy....."He who can copy can do." You might have heard of him before. His name was Leonardo Da Vinci. (Another Italian, like Pietro. ;)

BTW, we still use forms of tracing at my work. Because we make sure that the sketches match proportions of the 3D model. Precision is key. Like when the sole tech must match with the ball of the heel. THings like that really help visually. Sorry guys, I'm done ranting.

TO BC: HEY, I AINT TRYING TO START NO BEEF, AND I NEVER ACUALLY CALLED ANY DIRECT PERSON A HATER. IM BASICALLY TELLING ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DO HATE,WITH ARE PEOPLE WHO SAY THAT YOUR WORK IS WACK WITHOUT ANY EXPLAINATION, TO BACK OFF AND STOP HATING. ALSO, I DO AGREE WITH DA VINCI THAT ANY PERSON WHO CAN COPY CAN DO, BUT IT'S JUST THAT I THINK TRACING IS TOO EASY. THAT'S ALL.
